Early literacy is the cornerstone of a child's learning journey. It refers to the array of skills and knowledge related to reading and writing that children begin to develop from their earliest years. This foundational stage involves more than just recognizing letters, sounds, and words. It's about understanding that spoken words are linked to written symbols, grasping the alphabet, and building a broad vocabulary.

However, early literacy also extends to developing listening skills, fostering an appreciation for stories and books, and cultivating the ability to understand and narrate stories. These competencies are crucial, as they lay the groundwork not only for formal education but also for a child's ability to interpret and engage with the world around them.

At PAIR Program, LLC, our mission is to empower, engage, and equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge and resources they need to effectively support these critical early literacy skills in children. By doing so, we aim to ensure that every young learner has the opportunity to thrive in reading, writing, and beyond, setting a strong foundation for their future academic and personal success.
